Drop the deck.
2 |
Locate the switch by looking though the square hole in the right side of the frame. Switch should be free to move up and down.
3 |
View from underneath. Switches stuck in the up position will prevent the brushes from turning.
4 |
Open tank and locate the wires coming out of the end of the switch. Note the orientation of the wires and the location of the plug-in at the Power Board. If the wires are disconnected...the brushes will spin, even when the deck is raised.

Unplug the wires from the Power Board. Using a multimeter set for "Continuity", probe the white plug as you push the switch in with your fingers. A working switch will "beep" when pressed in.
